  • What slasher movies can teach us about reality TV

    Andy Dehnart
    31 Jul 2015 | 8:11 am
In this edition of The Confessional, Cary O’Dell argues that disposable characters on reality shows makes reality TV more watchable yet more forgettable. Oh, not so long ago, in my misspent TV-watching youth, whenever I was in need of something to watch (because actually turning off the TV was, of course, completely out of the... read more » This story, What slasher movies can teach us about reality TV, was published on reality blurred
  • Knock Knock Live. Who’s there? No one, so you’re cancelled

    Andy Dehnart
    30 Jul 2015 | 4:28 pm
Fox has cancelled its quasi-live, Ryan Seacrest-hosted series Knock Knock Live. This is unsurprising: the first episode was an offensive mess, and in terms of viewers, the answer to “who’s there” on Fox’s Knock Knock Live was “pretty much no one.” Despite the presence of Justin Bieber on Tuesday’s episode, or maybe because of it, ratings... read more » This story, Knock Knock Live. • Friday Questions

    Ken Levine
    31 Jul 2015 | 6:00 am
Let’s close out July with some Friday Questions, shall we? GS in SF starts with a question on the spec DICK VAN DYKE SHOW I recently wrote and posted. How different do you think the process would have been had you worked with your writing partner instead of handling the task solo? Would he have offered similar comments? Or, does having a partner give you more "distance" that maybe you would have come to some of these helpful insights on your own? This may offer an excellent opportunity to dissect the pros (and cons?) of writing with a partner??First of all, it would be better with better…

For the first time since 2013, I'm conducting my 2-day Sitcom Room. It'll be Saturday/Sunday, October 17-18...in Los Angeles, as always. The Sitcom Room is where I lock 20 brave souls into “writers’ rooms” for an entire weekend so they can experience for themselves what it’s really like to write for a TV sitcom. The last time I held this event, we sold out all 20 spaces in one hour. If you're on my Alert List, we'll let you know 24 hours before the rest of the world the exact date & time that Registration will be open...and Registration will open one hour early just for the people…

    Ken Levine
    30 Jul 2015 | 6:00 am
The Friday Questions are stacking up so I thought I would devote an extra day to them.  Hope that's okay.Rashad Khan leads off:In a previous blog post, you mentioned the pilot episode of "The Phil Silvers Show" to your comedy writing class at USC. If you haven't covered this topic before: which OTHER sitcom pilots would you show to anyone as good examples (provided, of course, they were available for viewing)? I used to say the COSBY pilot but no more. I didn’t necessarily show pilots to the class, just great episodes. The series I chose besides Bilko were THE HONEYMOONERS, THE DICK…
  • Naming characters after people you know

    Ken Levine
    29 Jul 2015 | 6:00 am
In Anne Flett-Giordano’s hilarious new book, MARRY, KISS, KILL there’s a character named Ken Levine. He’s a total asshole. Anne is also a brilliant TV comedy writer, having won a gazillion Emmys for shows like FRASIER. So we know each other. Unlike random people who just assume I’m an asshole, Anne asked if she could use my name. I, of course, was delighted and touched. Yes, the character is a prick but he also gets laid a lot and is young. Her book (which you really should read) is sprinkled with names of people she knows. This is not uncommon. It’s always tough coming up with…
  • Final thoughts on THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW

    Ken Levine
    28 Jul 2015 | 6:00 am
Here’s the second part of my conversation with Bill Persky about my spec DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.   Yesterday was the first.  Tomorrow I jump onto other things. First: some of my observations. Whenever I write a TV script I always visualize the final product on the air. I don’t pictures the actors on the stage with cameras and crew hovering. Imagining the final product helps me think of the characters, not the actors who play them. Doing the DICK VAN DYKE SHOW I realized this was the first time I had ever pictured a script in black-and-white. I also felt that the tone was very…

  • ‘Astronauts Wives Club’ Ratings Rocket Up, ‘Big Brother’ Steady, ‘Food Fighters’ Down

    31 Jul 2015 | 9:15 am
The thing about clichés is that they are so often true and that what goes down also goes up, to flip one such expression – at least when it comes to space race ratings this week. After falling 33% among adults 18-49 last week from its July 16 show, ABC's The Astronaut Wives Club (0.8/3) rocketed up the exact same percentage this week. Now that is coming off a low last week and still in a struggling zone for any show, summer or otherwise. Still, the freshman 60s-set series…

  • A Harem of Translators: Isaac Bashevis Singer at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival

    31 Jul 2015 | 11:46 am
A couple of months ago, I remembered a movie I enjoyed very much when it came out, in 1989, and hadn't seen since. So I Netflixed Enemies, A Love Story, based on the 1972 novel by the marvelous Yiddish writer Isaac Bashevis Singer and directed by Paul Mazursky. It stars Ron Silver as a Polish immigrant in post-World War II New York whose love life--he has a young wife (Malgorzata Zajaczkowska) and a lusty mistress (Lena Olin)--becomes far more complicated when the wife he'd presumed lost in the Holocaust (Anjelica Huston) suddenly pops up in his world. Oy. Now that I've seen one of the films…

When book people, either professional or casual enthusiasts, get together, they often find themselves talking about "great books." Hemmingway said he knew he had read a great book if he felt changed after reading it. I think everyone who read regularly has experienced this. However, whether the great books you talk about are your own personal list, or the cannon with which we're all familiar, I would encourage you not to discuss them as if they were somehow a triumph of craft. I have nothing against craft, I edit a magazine full of articles on craft, but a book that stays with us for years…

In my research on how different nations define the competencies that young people need to thrive in the 21st century, Singapore occupies a central place because of the comprehensive and balanced nature of the goals that guide the education system, anchored in values and ethics and focused on the development of competencies for life, work and citizenship. I had previously visited Singapore and the NIE, when the cross-national research collaborative I lead, the Global Education…
  • The One Habit That Great CEOs Need to Master In The Next 5 Years

    31 Jul 2015 | 11:44 am
Warren Buffett, Arianna Huffington, Bill Gates, and Richard Branson have built great companies. But the reason you know their names is because they also created great content, which developed their personal brands. Does this make them attention-seeking CEOs courting personal celebrity? You may think so if you've read the classic academic study turned bestselling book, Good To Great. Jim Collins and his research team uncovered a surprising feature of wildly successful CEOs: extreme humility. Almost all of the CEOs he found who built great companies are unknown to the public. That being said,…

  • Review: Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp Seems Like Old Times

    James Poniewozik
    28 Jul 2015 | 6:02 am
Even by the standards of today’s reboot/remake/remodel culture, there are enough layers of nostalgia in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (premieres on Netflix July 31) to rend the fabric of space-time. It’s a 2015 prequel to a 2001 movie, set in 1981. To watch this reunion-cum-origin-story, with its middle-aged original cast putting on teenage drag again, is to feel a tug of memory for the aughts and the ’90s heyday of MTV’s The State (which gave us co-writers Michael Showalter and David Wain) and the ’70s and ’80s camp comedies like Meatballs it…

And nervous because the former Olympic gold medalist and Keeping Up With the Kardashians dad is also reintroducing herself to the world as the most visible and thus scrutinized transgender person in America. “I hope I get it right,” she sighs. James Poniewozik
    22 Jul 2015 | 6:00 am
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (Wednesday, July 22, on Syfy) is, of course, a disaster movie: sharks are swept up into storms, hurtle through the air eating humans on the fly, you know the drill. But even before a chainsaw is raised or a single extra goes torso-first into a great white’s gullet, it hints that Earth was struck by an earlier, unmentioned apocalypse: one that destroyed nearly everyone and everything not owned by Comcast Corporation. Last year’s Sharknado 2, sequel to the 2013 social-media-rubbernecking sensation, already showed that the franchise was willing to use every…

How could you keep nominating this old retread, Emmys? You could cut-and-repaste some variation of this for every summer’s Emmy nominations, and to some extent that’s exactly what we do. • Robot Chicken Season 7 DVD Review

    Marc Eastman
    28 Jul 2015 | 6:10 pm
Robot Chicken exists in a very unique world, and the release of the seventh season on DVD hasn’t really changed anything. The show is a wild and random mix of short vignettes that, in one way or another, take shots at pop culture and/or simply culture, with a definite air toward not just politically incorrect viewpoints, but several steps beyond the merely politically incorrect. As time has gone on, the show created by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, and Mike Fasolo, has clearly developed a distinct voice, but it has undergone changes as well. Certain sketches during the seventh season…

Given the recent and pronounced changes to Marvel’s line-up, there is clearly a marked desire to reach a more modern and diverse audience. From the development of complex and diverse lead characters to the promotion of female superheroes, Marvel is dragging its brand into the modern-day and winning an army of new fans in the process. One of the most exciting aspects is that it has brought new characters and narratives to the forefront of the comic book and cinematic world. Just as Thor introduced extra-terrestrial elements to the Marvel brand, so too we can expect the upcoming Doctor…
  • Silicon Valley Season 2 Digital Release Review

    Marc Eastman
    23 Jul 2015 | 9:11 am
Silicon Valley took the world by storm with its first season, but the caustic, geek-centric, culture commentary show had a lot to work out to get a second season to fly, and while still better than quite a bit of the television world, it didn’t quite make it to the level of the first few episodes of the show. The second kicks off by finally addressing the death of Christopher Evan Welch, who played Peter Gregory. While the show figured out ways to dodge his loss at the end of the first season, it was something that had to be explained for the show to continue. The show also had to take…
  • Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll Review – TV FX – Leary Nails TV. Again.

    Marc Eastman
    16 Jul 2015 | 4:24 pm
Once in a while, a show comes a long that blows you away, but is unfortunately difficult to describe. It isn’t that it’s taxing to try to convey what you appreciate about the effort, but that it’s actually hard to describe the show itself. That may be a surprising statement, given that Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll has an official synopsis, was pitched, and has been and will be described countless times. Sure, Denis Leary plays an aging rocker who never made it, and the series begins with him finding the daughter he never knew he had. The pull is that she sought him out so…
  • Soundtracks That Take Over The Film – Add Your Picks

    Marc Eastman
    13 Jul 2015 | 9:03 pm
I was recently forced to think about the connection between soundtracks and films, and when that relationship is taken to another level, and it moved me to create a list of some of the ones I think reach for the stars in this area. But, I didn’t want to include those that are too obvious (though I probably did anyway), and for a very specific reason. For example, I wasn’t interested in putting Once on the list, because really, why bother? Putting Once on the list is somehow to just repeat yourself. Pretty in Pink didn’t work either, because when your movie is a song on the…

  • UK’s bedtime stories for big kids, Crackanory, lures ‘Reverend Jim’ across the pond

    Bill Young
    30 Jul 2015 | 11:19 pm
There are far more reasons than the law allows for the fact that I continue to believe that British telly is by far superior to its distant cousin from America. Let us, for a moment, forget about the perennial examples of Spooks vs. 24, Fawlty Towers vs. ‘insert any American comedy series here‘ or Doctor Who vs. ‘every science fiction series except Star Trek. How about a series of bedtime stories for adults and, here’s the kicker, it’s incredibly brilliant telly. Crackanory is a storytelling television series aimed at adults, inspired by the popular…

With the final episode set to air on Christmas Day in the UK and on March 7, 2016 as part of PBS’ Masterpiece series, filming is in its final days with only a few locations yet to go in and around Bampton, the Oxfordshire village which has doubled for Downton village since the series premiere…

Could one of the biggest shows on UK television during its prime that isn’t named Upstairs Downstairs find its’ way to American television in the not-too-distant future? The next brilliant British series with a target on its back for a possible re-boot, All Creatures Great and Small is based on the books of the British veterinary surgeon, Alf Wight, who wrote under the pseudonym James Herriot. Surprisingly, it’s HBO, the cable network known more for The Sopranos, Game of Thrones and True Detective that is looking at a possible revival.   Set in the fictional…

Courtesy of FreemantleMedia Australia With every season of Foxtel’s Wentworth comes higher stakes, grittier drama, and captivating new characters. Especially ones who wear boots, leather and jackets to die for. Oh, and did we mention the new season also brings a little sexual tension between therapist and patient (aka our beloved inmate Francesca “Franky” Doyle?) Okay, there are a lot of other amazing things going on in H Block, but most notably is the season 3 addition of Libby Tanner’s compassionate yet hardass character, Bridget Westfall. Read Full Post

  • Walter White: the ultimate anti-hero

    12 Jul 2015 | 5:54 pm
In re-watching Breaking Bad this summer (okay, more like I’ve binged through the first four seasons in just a few weeks, but who’s counting?) I can’t help but marvel as ever at Bryan Cranston’s performance as timid chemistry teacher turned criminal mastermind Walter White. It got me to thinking about Walter White versus some of the other great lead dramatic characters in recent television history, namely Jon Hamm as Don Draper on Mad Men and (the late, great) James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano on The Sopranos. You could easily make the argument that any of the three are…
  • Mad Men: 7 wishes for the final 7 episodes

    5 Apr 2015 | 4:22 pm
Not much more can be added to the torrent of stories written about Mad Men's final installment of seven episodes (the first of these airs tonight at 10/9c on AMC). For that reason, I'll simply add my own personal wish list of things that I'd like to see as the so called "End of an Era" kicks off. For Peggy Olson, a balancing act We've seen Peggy's storyline emerge over the past several seasons as one in which she's achieving great professional success while her personal life is often in shambles (not an unfamiliar dynamic for many characters on this show). Of all the will they-won't they…
  • 15 ways in which Masters of Sex' Bill Masters and Mad Men's Don Draper are alike

    27 Sep 2014 | 3:01 pm
Anyone who possesses even passing knowledge of Showtime's Masters of Sex and AMC's Mad Men will know that the two shows are similar-ish on the surface. But when you dig into the two male protagonists – Masters of Sex' Dr. Bill Masters (played by Michael Sheen) and Mad Men's Don Draper (Jon Hamm) – you'll see that they share many traits and circumstances that are not obvious to recognize at first. Well, that's what we're here for at the TV Geek Army, so kick back and enjoy – and we encourage you to add even more in the comments. Both Bill Masters and Don Draper: 1) Have…
  • Supernatural Rewind: the Winchesters reel in a "Hook Man"

    26 Sep 2014 | 9:40 pm
"Hook Man" (Supernatural S0107) cold opens out of the clichéd (but fun) scary camp fire story that everyone has heard a million times. A dude takes his gal out into the middle of the woods to "neck" (if we're talking super old school parlance) or their car breaks down or some such. Then, one of a few things happens. Either the couple here's on the car radio that a bunch of psychopaths have broken out of the local mental hospital (this might be one of my favorites, and may well have been used in the classic film, Stand By Me). Then, wouldn't you know it, surprise surprise, the couple…
  • South Park, "Go Fund Yourself": furry balls plopped menacingly on the table

    25 Sep 2014 | 12:46 am
Quick Take: South Park, "Go Fund Yourself" "Washington Redskins totally gets people's attention." – Eric Cartman Review: South Park, "Go Fund Yourself" (S1801) I recall an epic road trip from many moons ago. One of my best pals and I took a five-week sojourn across this great nation, slicing across monstrous miles and trekking along the groaning highway (hat tip to Mr. Jack Kerouac there, in one of my all time favorite phrases of his from On the Road) through the south, stopping wherever whim and friends and family took us along the way, modest tastes (Denny's was our friend in many…

  • 7 Ways “Orange is the New Black” Teaches Us How to Be a Better Friend

    Rebecca Edwards

By now it’s obvious that no one survives in Litchfield without a little help from their friends. The criminal compatriots of “Orange Is the New Black” have some of the tightest friendship on television. Seeing as these gals have plenty of time to work on their relationships, we thought we’d take a closer look to see what they can teach us about being a friend. Here are seven ways to kill at friendship – “OITNB” style. 1. Sometimes You Gotta Dance Nothing breaks the tension like getting your groove on. The ladies of Litchfield definitely know how to cut a rug. And no matter what…
  • Answering Our Questions About “The Good Wife” Season 7

    Valerie David
    29 Jul 2015 | 10:45 am
There was a lot that happened last season on “The Good Wife” and we’re expecting a lot more drama when season seven begins this fall. When we last saw our favorite lawyer, Alicia (Julianna Margulies), she was setting up shop for her private practice in her apartment and it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out for her. We’re still left asking a lot of questions about what we’ll see when the series premieres October 4 and these are some of them. Will Alicia finally have a man in her life? We’re still in mourning over the loss of beloved Finn (Matthew Goode) from Alicia’s…
  • 5 Things “Orphan Black” Gets Right About Family

    Rebecca Edwards
    28 Jul 2015 | 9:52 am
Family probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think about the sci-fi hit “Orphan Black.” But after all the conspiracy, clones, and ass-kicking, the story really comes down to one woman’s struggle to save her family. Even though our family struggles (hopefully) play out with fewer weapons and undercover ops, “Orphan Black” has a lot to teach us about putting family first. Take a look at the top five things this BBC America hit gets right about family. 1. Putting Your Children First Doesn’t Always Feel Good Even before Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) witnessed the…

Instead, according to President of HBO Programming Michael Lombardo, Game of Thrones will continue on for at least one year more than what Weiss and Beinoff had originally said, meaning that, when all is said and done, we should be getting eight seasons (or more) of the epic fantasy drama. “I think seven seasons and…

And while family will always be a major theme in The Originals, it will be explored in a little bit of a different way in the show’s upcoming third season, as the sired vampires of the originals (in many ways, the “first line of children” of Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah, as series creator Julie Plec describes) arrive in…

The Last Panthers, Hand of God, Narcos, Lucky Man, The Five THE SETTING at the exclusive top-floor club of London’s Gherkin was swanky enough to impress to the shady ‘banksters’ featured in Sky Atlantic‘s ambitious new Euro-thriller The Last Panthers. • Sherlock Christmas special trailer

    10 Jul 2015 | 4:21 am
BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH and Martin Freeman seem to have slipped into a different time zone for this Christmas’s special instalment of the BBC’s much admired drama. Its USP, of course, has been that showrunner Steven Moffat had placed Holmes and Watson in a contemporary setting. But for the special, perhaps he and co-writer Mark Gatiss had snowy Victorian Christmas scenes stuck in their heads and decided to go retro. Moffatt told the Comic-Con crowd, where this trailer was unveiled, that “It’s still the same sense of humour, it’s still very much the show you know… But it’s…

  • 7 Ways “Orange is the New Black” Teaches Us How to Be a Better Friend

    Rebecca Edwards
    30 Jul 2015 | 8:15 am
By now it’s obvious that no one survives in Litchfield without a little help from their friends. The criminal compatriots of “Orange Is the New Black” have some of the tightest friendship on television. Seeing as these gals have plenty of time to work on their relationships, we thought we’d take a closer look to see what they can teach us about being a friend. Here are seven ways to kill at friendship – “OITNB” style. 1. Sometimes You Gotta Dance Nothing breaks the tension like getting your groove on. The ladies of Litchfield definitely know how to cut a rug. And no matter what…

In between trips to the beach and hosting backyard barbecues this summer, we can catch some goofy and quick-witted entertainment on the small screen. 22 Jul 2015 | 8:52 am
There’s more to ABC Family than juicy teen dramas like “Pretty Little Liars” and the show that started it all, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” Thanks to breakout hit “The Fosters” and unscripted reality series “Becoming Us,” we’re deeming this Disney-owned station the most progressive and accepting basic cable network on television. According to a 2014 GLAAD study, ABC Family was tied with Showtime as the second-most LGBT-inclusive network. Each network boasting 13 shows in its lineup that included or addressed LGBT characters and issues. The only network with…

Tosh is given a pendant that allows her to read minds. She is able to hear the thoughts of almost every single person that she comes into contact with. (Captain Jack being the exception). In  Countrycide the Torchwood gang is confronted by what they believe are to be alien forces that essentially kidnap people and decimate their corpses tearing apart all flesh and muscle, leaving behind just a bloody clump of bones. For most of the episode we don’t even catch a glimpse of the monsters. Instead the information that we as an audience gleans, comes from the large number of victims that they leave behind. Torchwood, a group with plenty of experience investigating and witnessing horrible acts of violence are caught by surprise by the viciousness of the attacks. JACK: What is it?

In order for the wickedness and tragedy of a situation to become evident, do lives need to be extinguished so that the rest of humanity can finally get the message that if we don’t care and if we don’t act, people, including children, will be killed? We are made in the image of God. While I am not a literalist and do not believe that the creation stories in genesis detail the origin of life, I believe that the narratives serve to remind us that each individual person is cared for and loved by God. Being made in the image of God means that we are loved beyond our wildest imagination and that we also have a worth that goes beyond whatever arbitrary characteristics that society deems to be the epitome of human perfection. Over at Frame Rated yesterday: the aquatic post-apocalypse film WATERWORLD turns 20 this week, so I took a look back at this 1995 summer movie, starring Kevin Costner, Dennis Hopper and Jeanne Tripplehorn.Waterworld still evokes feelings of cinematic misfortune, two decades after the post-apocalyptic action film's summer release, but time’s been kind to this 1995 'flopbuster'. Indeed, despite its dismal reputation (earning itself nicknames like 'Fishtar' and 'Kevin’s Gate', alluding to fiascos Ishtar and Heaven’s Gate), there are much bigger financial and creative disasters. When Academy Award winning director Steven Soderbergh said he wanted to make a historical medical drama for Cinemax, anticipation ran very high indeed. The Knick arrived to great fanfare and even better critical response, with audiences relishing the lead performance of Clive Owen, coupled with the sumptuous direction of the legendary helmer. Now we have a teaser trailer for the second season, and it seems that Soderbergh looks set to deliver the goods once more. Set in turn of the century New York City, within the walls of the infamous Knickerbocker Hospital, the show follows Dr. John W.
  • Is Netflix Lining Up Three Live-Action Star Wars Shows?

    Isaac Feldberg
    31 Jul 2015 | 10:21 am
It’s been speculated for some time that Disney and Lucasfilm may proceed with plans to expand the Star Wars franchise with live-action television series that complement the forthcoming movies. And though those rumors remain unconfirmed and this should be taken with a sizable grain of salt, given the rumor’s source, a site called Cinelinx is throwing some wood on the fire by reporting that Disney is planning to continue its Marvel partnership with streaming giant Netflix by collaborating on as many as three live-action Star Wars series. Cinelinx reported this same news a while…

See Full Gallery Here Remember when everyone was terrified at the prospect of a Breaking Bad prequel series? Better Call Saul, on paper, seemed uncomfortably like a ham-fisted attempt by AMC to recapture the magic of one of its most popular series, and it was with great trepidation that fans sat down for the premiere. Thankfully, the Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould-created series turned out to be not only a terrifically engrossing drama but an entirely different animal than the one that preceded it. To put it simply, those seven Emmy nominations were extremely well-earned. So it’s…
  • David Fincher’s Utopia May Be Dead Over Budget Dispute

    Isaac Feldberg
    31 Jul 2015 | 8:05 am
David Fincher may have done well for himself on Netflix’s House of Cards, but the acclaimed director is certainly having a rough go of it over on HBO. Production on his ’80s-set music video comedy Videosynchrazy was shut down about two months ago after brass balked at some of the screened footage (by the time they stepped in, Fincher had already shot four or five episodes). And now, Fincher’s other HBO show, conspiracy thriller Utopia, is in trouble as well. Deadline reports that HBO has yet to hand down a greenlight for the series, which Fincher adapted from the cult…
  • Game Of Thrones Likely To Wrap Up After Season 8; HBO Keen On Prequel Series

    Michael Briers
    31 Jul 2015 | 7:58 am
No matter which house you’ve sworn allegiance to, it looks to be that HBO will bring an end to the adorned TV adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire after Game of Thrones season 8. It’s a finish line that has long been on the cards – there’s only so much of George R.R. Martin’s yet-to-be-finished fantasy epic to adapt, after all – with showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss noting last year that the current series will likely run for another two-to-three seasons. That was after the fifth installment, and as Game of Thrones eases closer and closer to its…

  • Scream MTV Small Screen Slasher More Annoying Less Fun

    Michael Knox-Smith
    31 Jul 2015 | 11:37 am
In 1996 Wes Craven started the Scream franchise, which to be far came later, and, giving a great big cheeky nod to Alfred Hitchcock, killed off the film’s star in the first five minutes. The film was Craven’s homage with a tongue-in-cheek delivery to all things “slasher film” since the genre took off in the … Continue reading Scream MTV Small Screen Slasher More Annoying Less Fun → The post Scream MTV Small Screen Slasher More Annoying Less Fun appeared first on MikesFilmTalk.

Fire in the Hole in last week’s Stitchers had everyone on death’s door, loved ones were called and Fisher saved the day with help from Tim. Future Tense changes the pace a bit and deals with death on somewhat less grand scale. It also focuses on Linus and Camille as a faux couple and some … Continue reading Stitchers: Future Tense (recap and review) → The post Stitchers: Future Tense (recap and review) appeared first on MikesFilmTalk.
